Our Team
Mike is a co-founder of 42 North Partners and founder of Jandernoa Entrepreneurial Mentoring. After a 30-year career with Perrigo Company, Mike has focused his energy on all three pillars of 42 North Partners: Investments, Entrepreneurship, and Community.
Sue is a co-founder of 42 North Partners. With a 30-year career in teaching, she dedicates much of her time to promoting children’s health, education, and well-being throughout Grand Rapids.
Erin provides executive and administrative support to all areas of 42 North Partners. Prior to joining the team, she spent nearly ten years as an office manager for State Farm Insurance.
Joel leads the 42 North Partners finance team and manages a portfolio of private investments. Prior to
joining 42 North, Joel worked at Ernst & Young.
Nate supports 42 North Partners in the areas of tax compliance and investments and assists with monthly closing and financial reporting. Before joining the team, he was a tax accountant at Bredeweg & Zylstra.
Janet supports Mike Jandernoa, coordinates HR and benefit functions, and manages the 42 North Partners office. She joined the team after a 24-year career at Varnum Law.
Brandon serves as Executive Director of the Jandernoa Entrepreneurial Mentoring program (JEM). JEM works with West Michigan business leaders who seek to advance their leadership skills and further grow their businesses.
Will manages a portfolio of private equity fund investments and the 42 North Partners’ co-investment program. Prior to joining 42 North, Will worked at Ottawa Avenue Private Capital (RDV Corp) and CION Investments.
Carl leads the investment activities of 42 North Partners. Prior to joining 42 North, Carl worked with Bridge Street Capital, UBS Bank, and Deloitte.
Rob leads the entrepreneurship activities at 42 North Partners. Before joining 42 North, Rob worked in banking and sales and founded a start-up company.
Steve leads the community initiatives for 42 North Partners. Prior to joining 42 North, Steve worked in public accounting with Ernst & Young and KPMG.
Amy handles administrative tasks and works with nonprofit organizations as the grant coordinator for the Jandernoa Foundation.
Bill serves on the 42 North Partners board, providing advice and counsel based on his business and law career.
Yunseo manages the financial statements of 42 North Partners. Previously, Yunseo worked with Plante Moran.
John serves on the 42 North Partners board, providing advice and counsel based on his business and investment career.
Tessa manages the 42 North Partners financial processes and team. Previously she was a Senior Tax Accountant at Plante Moran.
